The team at Dragonfly Mountain CTC approach health and healing from a Transpersonal perspective. This means we depend upon, value, and include more than just human beings in the healing process.
One's relationship to self can expand beyond the egoic mind, that grey chunk of muscle in our skulls, which we need to survive, yet can also keep us too scared to really live...so what do we do? The first step is to turn on the lights and begin to experience the difference between the self and the Self.
Then we find the wiggle room and can breathe more easily. From here, we can begin to court a relationship with the more-than-human-world. Yes! Thus we experience the birth of the Eco-centric Self and the real adventure begins!
The Heart of Our Care

Nathan (Natyé) Torti, MA, RCT
FOUNDER, TRANSPERSONAL WILDERNESS THERAPIST
“Stewardship for oneself, others and the natural world”
For 25 years, I've worked as a therapist, clinical supervisor, and former mountain guide. My approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy—I believe true healing happens when we reconnect with our Self, human cultures, ecological communicates and the Wild world around us. I am a settler and also have connection to the land with respect, humility and stewardship.
As a therapist specializing in trauma support, existential awakenings, plant-medicine integration and wilderness therapy, I walk alongside people through their deepest transformations. It is a profound honor. Together, we court our medicine through storytelling, poetry, the wild world, body-awareness, ego-awareness and time with horses to support them to come back Home within oneself as a safe, welcoming space.
You are not broken—you are breaking open. Let's make sure you have everything you need for this next phase of your path.

The Vision - Dragonfly Mountain
Dragonfly Mountain was not built in a boardroom. It grew the way most meaningful things do, slowly, from the inside out, rooted in lived experience, shaped by wilderness, and called forward by something that couldn't be ignored any longer.
Nathan's work has always carried a quiet conviction: that healing happens most powerfully at the intersection of solid science and something wilder — the kind of knowing that lives in the body, in nature, in the liminal spaces between who we were and who we are becoming.
The Dragonfly Mountain CTC is the full expression of that conviction. It is a practice in its earliest, most alive phase, being built with intention, with care, and with room to grow into something larger than one person.
The vision is a community of practitioners who share a commitment to nature-rooted, evidence-informed, deeply human healing. Therapists who understand that the trail, the water, the ceremony, and the nervous system are not separate things. People who are drawn to exploring where there may not be roads - not recklessly, but with both feet on the ground, eyes open enough to see and bodies sensitive enough to feel the collaboration unfold.
If you are a therapist who recognizes yourself in this work — who feels the pull toward something more integrated, more alive, more rooted — we would love to hear from you. This collective is in its birthing phase, and that is exactly the right time to help shape what it becomes.
